Fund Details
Purpose: To provide emotional and financial relief to individuals and families impacted by cancer in our local community, and to recognize the selfless caregivers who support them.
Selection Committee: Composed of local leaders, medical professionals, educators, and community advocates. Members are responsible for reviewing submissions and voting on award recipients.
Fund Allocation:
- 70% of funds raised go to a selected cancer patient/family in need
- 30% used to recognize and support three community caregivers

- Community and business donations
- Swag/merchandise sales

Recordkeeping & Transparency
- All committee meetings and votes must be documented.
- Financial reports should be updated quarterly and made available to sponsors upon request.
- Final recipients and award stories to be shared with permission through newsletters and events.
Marketing & Community Outreach
- Use consistent branding for both divisions (logo, colors, messaging)
- Build partnerships with schools, medical providers, and local government
- Host annual recognition event to honor caregivers and celebrate program success
