Golf Lessons & Instruction
Macrae Conrad, PGA Student
At Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Macrae spent over 150 hours in golf instruction classes led by 7-time Division III National Coach of the Year Steve Conley and PGA Master Professional Tom Inczauskis. During nine months of internships, Macrae has been mentored by the 2019 PGA Professional of the Year, Eric Eshleman of the Country Club of Birmingham (Alabama), and the 2020 Bill Strausbaugh Award Winner, Larry Dornisch of Muirfield Village Golf Club (Ohio). At the Country Club of Birmingham, Macrae assisted in teaching 260 junior golfers ranging from the age of 5 to 18. This gave him over 200 hours of junior instruction in group clinics and individual lessons during the summer of 2020.
Macrae will instruct and coach students of all skill levels, from beginners to avid golfers. As every person is different, Macrae believes in working with the golfer right in front of him and adjusting the swing and mindset to fit the individual. If you want to enjoy the game, shave some strokes off of your score, or improve to compete in tournaments, Macrae will design lessons to reach your goals. He is comfortable teaching full-swing on the range, short-game around the greens, putting to get the ball in the hole, and course management to manuever your way from tee to green. Whether you are a first-time golfer, a new lesson-taker, or an experienced enthusiast or you know of a high-school competitor, an athletic junior, or young fan who is eager to learn, reach out to Macrae and find an instruction environment that matches your needs.
